Mini Book Review

The Husbands by Holly Gramazio

I just finished this fun novel, and I must say - it made me laugh and think. The premise is original. A single woman comes home to her flat in London and is greeted by a husband. Turns out, every time she sends a new-to-her husband back up to the attic, a new one comes down with along with completely new life surroundings. Akin to swiping left, you watch as she sends back husbands rapid fire, and tries on lives she could lead. Watching her struggle with her criteria and getting to know new husbands felt like speed dating on steroids and made me incredibly grateful to no longer be dating. It also brought back memories and begged the questions: what would have happened if I married someone else and, what do I value in a partner? Overall it was a very funny read and was light-weight until the very end when she bravely decides to end the husband marry-go-round. If you are looking for a beach read, this is a fun one. 4/5 Stars.

The press is picking up what I have put down!

Good Day Stateline

My first TV interview! It was an absolute pleasure to be featured on Good Day Stateline, an Illinois popular daytime news show. Michelle and Taminique asked thoughtful questions, digging into why I did a book trailer and how! PS: Can you spot Mr. P?

Warm 106.9 FM & Inspirational Women Podcast by Kate Daniels

In this amazing segment Kate uncovers my why and writing process, while serving up inspiration. She had this to say, "Corinne takes us on an adventurous journey of provocative subjects such as: feminism, activism, gender norms, crime, death, grief and a mix of these in a setting that presents looking at life and living and situations in new and creative ways.”

Thank you so much for cheering me on!

Until next month,

Corinne
