Book Reviews

Book Review

Blood and Ash series by Jennifer Armentrout

This is exactly the kind of fantasy I get into. Easy to read, yet not YA. Fantastic world building, romance, plus mythical creatures. Overall I very good series! However, I was not a fan of book five, where the entire plot is retold through another character's point of view. Luckily in book six the epic battle I was expecting plays out; it is coming out next year.

Book Review

Happiness Falls by Angie Kim

I listened to this one, and it was great! The voice actor did a fantastic job. What at first glance seems like a who-done-it mystery, really makes you think about the psychology, motives, and abilities of all the neurodiverse characters. Recommend!

An Audacious Partnership is Here!

Why I can't wait for you to read it...

This funny and empowering novel demonstrates what a functional and joyful business partnership between women looks like. Something we absolutely need more of in literature and on the screen!

Brooke and Kathy are vulnerable, hilariously authentic, and generally kick-ass while managing the very stressful event of opening the Beaufort Hotel and Art Collective to the public. The women face their families and insecurities while magnetizing extremely attractive men into their sphere, but they do not get distracted by them (romance is not the cake, it's the icing!). They are steadfast boss ladies who embrace their power and it's a joy to watch them succeed!

Order your E-Book or Paperback now on Amazon! This will also make a great holiday gift. The audiobook is done and it will be live any day now on Audible and iTunes/Books.
